5 horses raced in all three Triple Crown races. Two of these won races between the Preakness and the Belmont - Gulch won the Met Mile and Avies Copy won the Jersey Derby. Four of them competed in the Travers Stakes and three in the BC Classic. Three won major stakes races later in the year - Bet Twice won the Haskell Invitational, Cryptoclearance won the Pegasus Handicap, Alysheba won the Super Derby. Gulch did not win a stakes race but did finish runner up in the Whitney, Woodward, and Jamaica.
