I have never bet more on a longshot than I did on 44-1 bomb Longley ... and now, well I am almost broke for the meet. I can't get a winner for the life of me (I've lost with longshots and short priced favorites). To make things worse I have no air conditioning (and it was almost 100 today) and I missed the Travers when my dish went out temporarily. Total bet and loss: $354 ($28 in scratches)
