Aunt Dot Dot races Saturday

Aunt Dot Dot makes her third start for Truxton Stables and her 44th career start on Saturday in the 6th race at Philadelphia Park. She is due to break from the three hole in a seven horse field, racing a mile and 70 yards for a $16,000 tag and $25,000 purse. On paper Aunt Dot Dot looks competitive with this group and I think she has a good shot to get to the winner's circle for the 7th time in her career. Michael Gill has the probable favorite in 1 Auntie Millie who finished second in a Maryland Million starter stakes race last out and second against open $16k company two back. Economist Bob Losey, a finance professor at American University, owns 5 Sister Desiree. Are there many races with two academic economists listed as owners? Perhaps i'll see if Losey wants to make a side head-to-head wager. Bug rider J. Joubert is aboard Aunt Dot Dot since Eddie King will be out of town this weekend. Joubert is also listed on 6 Pinki Dinki Do.

UPDATE: Jose Flores is our jock. He has ridden Aunt Dot Dot seven times before including her win in the race we claimed her out of. Aunt Dot Dot is the morning line second favorite at 7/2.
