Aunt Dot Dot finished an even sixth in her 46th start and earned $250 to up her career earnings to $211,575. She went off at 33-1 and I was alive to her in a Pick 3 that would've paid $1000. She ran five lengths off a contested pace, went wide around the home turn and then flattened out in the stretch. We plan to run ADD back next week in the sprint division of this condition (6 1/2 furlongs on Dec 22). After that we will make some decisions about her future. At this level, with the influx of horses from other tracks, ADD will probably continue to struggle. Two races back she went off at 7/2 at this level, but the competition has gotten tougher.

Yes by West finished a good fourth earning $1620. She ran into the starting gate before the race and came back to the barn bruised, cut, and bleeding but she should be fine. She broke alertly and went to the lead, carving out decent fractions around the first turn and down the backstretch. She entered the stretch a length on top and fought gamely down the stretch to hold on to fourth place. Given that she was running above her condition (she is eligible for N2L) and beyond her optimal distance (she is bred to sprint), we are extremely pleased. We'll run her next in sprint for N2L (either a Clm 35000 or Str 25000).
