Traditionalists still love the early double -- Saratoga added a rolling double this year but the 1st race double still gets the largest handle. Even with a steeplechase to kick things off the 1st-2nd race double handled $120k vs $78k in the 2nd-3rd race double and $66k in the 3rd-4th race double.  

The track is lightning fast today. 1:08 flat for open $25k claimers in the 3rd. They were smokin' from start to finish - :22.30, :22.23, :11.64, :11.90.   

I'm betting Atrea in the 7th and Bricklayer in the 9th.
